Nike Vintage 83 Retro Sunglasses EV0635 Aviator

I just got these sunglasses this past week. I have worn them for a couple days for extended periods of time in bright sunlight. I must say that these glasses are very nice. They are very comfortable, provide adequate sun protection, and look pretty cool. Since aviators are the only style of sunglasses that I wear, I thought I would give this pair a go since they are a good medium in price between the cheap "no-name" brands and the expensive (but sweet) Oakley Plaintiff pair of Avis. Now back to this pair of Nike Avis: I was somewhat reluctant to get them since they do not have an iridium coating nor are polarized. However, Nike manages to provide good optics by treating the lens to protect eyes from UV rays. The lens is dark but not overly. It is still dark enough to rest your eyes from bright sun and keep you comfortable. I would recommend them for around medium to bright sunlight (mainly medium). There is very little color distortion from what I can tell. Also, the lens size is sufficient to provide good protection; however, you can see the shaded area versus the unshaded area around your peripherals. The nosepieces are very nice as well because they must be made from some sort of rubbery/silicone substance: soft and provides traction so it doesn't slide down your nose very easily. The earpieces are nice on these sunglasses because they aren't hooks or angled ear catches. Sometimes glasses that have these may cause pressure on top of the ear and become uncomfortable after some time. I never experienced this because these pair of sunglasses simply slide over your ears and apply pressure to the contour of your head rather than having anything come down around the back of the ear to apply unnecessary pressure. The only drawback on these glasses that accounts for my deduction of one star is the lack of spring spring hinges... This would greatly increase comfort and durability in my opinion. Even my cheap pair have spring hinges. Maybe Nike designed this pair to be without the spring hinges purposefully, but nevertheless, they are not present if you were expecting them. This decision to not have spring hinges also greatly decreases the overall frame profile and keeps it slim and simple. These sunglasses look clean. They are a very good pair of sunglasses for the current price. The nice faux-leather case and microfiber cleaning cloth are nice additions to this buy. If you are looking for name brand Avis for a good price that provide a nice level of comfort, style, and sun protection: Buy these. They are worth it in my opinion.On a side note: the darkness is light enough to keep these glasses on while having to go inside if you don't want to pull them off. They are comfortable enough to possibly forget about them being on your face since they don't cause too much pressure and aren't insanely dark.

The Nike retro sunglasses are very comfortable and have a nice look. Women loved it!!!!! These pair were the best I had!

These glasses are lightweight and great when driving. You can where them all day and without the bridge of our nose hurting.
