It's Real; and I don't review stuff
By william j bray
It takes a lot to get me off my duff and review something. I purchased one (1) pair to see if they're 'real' blue blocking lenses, e.g., you look at something blue and it should turn grayish-black, they're real, not just a yellow tinted lens, for 10 bucks. I got PO'd at various makers of 'blue blockers' charging a million dollars for plastic sun glasses, so I got one (1) pair to check them out. The million dollar plastic sunglasses don't have better lenses no matter how much the plead with you to believe so.These are very simply real blue blocking lenses (which makes everything look very cool, by the way) for 10 bucks and free shipping, which got there in 2 days. So I'm buying a few more pair before this manufacturer gets brave enough to charge half a million dollars for their sunglasses. If these guys can manufacture, sell, and ship real blue blocking sunglasses for 10 bucks, and I've been using blue blocking lenses for about 10 years, when they all cost about 10 bucks, I don't see the point in spending more, the embarrassment of being ripped off when it is clearly demonstrated that 10 bucks is the value of the product.Anyway, save your million dollars, these are real blue blocking lenses for 10 bucks and free shipping.

cool looking but fragile
By Mountain Mac
these glasses seem to have the same lens quality as the original, but the frame itself seems to be made of a fairly brittle plastic, unlike the originals I have (had). unfortunately I crushed the old ones in my pocket mountain climbing (I guess mountain climbing in style was a poor decision). Anyway, I returned these and got excellent return service from Triple Optic and purchased another couple types of glasses from them with no problem. If you are the type who never breaks anything, maybe these will be worth 10 bucks to you, but believe me, it would be hard not to crack the frame on these. maybe just use for special occasions?--or better yet, buy something else-I reccommend triple optic as a seller anyway, excellent service-free shipping both ways.

Pretty Crappy!
By Mike
I usually buy pretty cheap sunglasses these days since I tend to lose them, or break them after dropping them a few times. I'd like to think that I know what to expect from $10 sunglasses. That being said, I've bought sturdier glasses for $5 off a table on Canal Street in NYC! I literally had the glasses for less than a week, and they broke. I didn't even get the chance to scratch the lenses! They broke in a way I've never experienced. I was playing some bluegrass at a jam outside, and the frame just snapped out of nowhere while I was in the middle of a banjo solo. True Story. One of two things was happening here. Either my banjo solos are a lot more powerful than I thought, or these are the crappiest sunglasses ever! I'm trying to concentrate all hard, and then there's a snap noise, and the glasses jump off my nose. I thought I was hit by a piece of hail, or some other sort of falling debris. I reacted like someone spit in my eye, or was trying to slap me in the face. The lens stayed in the frame after it broke, so it's not like anyone could tell that I was just assaulted by my own glasses. Thanks Retro 80s Vintage Blue Blocking XL Large Plastic Aviator Sunglasses, now all my friends think I have banjo tourettes, and I'll never forgive you for it.
